Quality deals on the Xbox One S continue to show up, with the latest getting you the new console and a handful of bonus games.
Newegg’s eBay account is offering the 500 GB Halo Collection bundle for $329 with three extra games: Fallout 4, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, and Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. The bundle on its own costs $300, so you’re effectively paying $29 for three games that cost $20-$30 each when on sale.
The Halo Collection bundle includes Halo 5: Guardians and Halo: The Master Chief Collection, the latter of which is comprised of Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2, Halo 3, and Halo 4. Counting each of those, the new deal gets you a system and eight games for $329. That’s solid value.
That’s the same price as another deal on Newegg’s website that we highlighted earlier this week; that one’s bonuses are Syndicate an extra Xbox One S controller. There are also bundles involving the Madden 17 bundle available.
Keep in mind that, although the Xbox One S only recently launched–read our review here–another new Xbox console is on the way in late 2017 in the form of Project Scorpio. That will be substantially more powerful than the S, which itself is a bit faster than a regular Xbox One, providing performance gains in some games. It will, however, play the same games and use the same accessories as the Xbox One and Xbox One S.
Sony is expected to unveil new version of the PS4 in September, which is also leading to some good sales on the existing PS4.
